Editing | Mixing | Mastering—What's the Difference?
Mixing does not include editing or tuning—all adjustments to pitch, timing, and noise reduction should be completed in the editing phase before mixing begins.
A great mix prepares a track for mastering. While mixing balances all individual elements (vocals, instruments, effects), mastering ensures the final track is polished and optimized for different playback systems. Our mixes are crafted to meet the highest quality standards expected in the mastering stage, ensuring a smooth and effective final step.
Note
We mix in stereo and mono formats only—we do not offer 5.1 surround or other multi-channel formats.
